At Devizes 6th form, 19 of our students, alongside other students from three other White Horse federation schools, are taking part in a global citizenship programme this year. The students will be travelling in separate groups to Tanzania, Nepal, Cambodia, and Thailand.
During their time away they will be helping groups with education and sustainability and helping build local structures within the community.
Students have been asked to raise money to help fund the trip and ensure that the local communities get the most benefit from the visit.
The citizenship programme is designed to bring maximum benefit to the local population while giving students the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience new cultures.
